Homework and Test-Taking Skills for Grades 6-8
Synopsis
If young people fail to learn strong academic habits early, studies show they will find these habits harder to acquire when they are older. In this thought-provoking class, students will practice concentrating on their own responsibilities in the face of distraction, analyze a scene that explores the feelings of disappointment that can result from failing to make good academic choices, play a game that demonstrates perseverance, and practice asking for help.
