Synopsis
When Prince So-Unique wakes up on the morning of his birthday, he is distraught to find that everything looks the same as always (and that’s boring, boring, boring). With the help of King One-Of-A-Kind and the Royal Subjects, played by the students, he delights in identifying the things that make us all different. Acceptance of Differences Classes for Grades 3-6
Synopsis
Many children develop prejudices at an early age, when they are first becoming aware of the differences between themselves and the people around them. In this active and stimulating class, your students learn about commonality through a kinetic group activity, learn the definition of prejudice by watching a performed montage, and use role-play to demonstrate that acceptance can be communicated through tone-of-voice and body language. In the end, your students will help the Actor-Educators to act out a story where one girl has to make a choice – Should she leave someone out because he’s a little different, or is she brave enough to accepting?

- To identify the attributes, tastes, and activities that the students in the class have in common
