Synopsis
It is natural for friends to form groups, but some friend groups can become
exclusive and alienating to other kids, especially when those groups hold
social power in a school. When these groups begin using rumors and gossip,
they can become even more harmful. CLIMB's new play for middle school will
help students understand the damage that exclusion can do to the emotional
and mental well-being of their classmates, provide victims of exclusion with
tools for survival in the middle-school jungle, and show them that even kids
