Topic: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Grade Level: 3-6

Synopsis
The future in which Dax lives is not a pleasant place.  Tired of getting oxygen through mechanical devices and sick of the cold, barren landscape, Dax travels from the future to our present where he discovers that people could have preserved the environment by conserving resources and by reducing, reusing and recycling their garbage.  But they didn’t.  People just didn’t seem to think their individual efforts would make a difference.  Desperate to change his sparse world (our future world), Dax attempts to convince us to change our wasteful ways.

“Your actors are always top-notch.  I believe these programs help to reinforce the lessons we are teaching in the classroom.  Our district has taken a strong environmental focus.  I think the ‘Flashback’ program fit into our district goals for environmental education.  It created one more way to get the educational message out to our students.  Thank you for continuing to create excellent programs for our schools.”
