Harassment Prevention Classes for Grades 6-12*
Synopsis Jonah Remington is a mild mannered teenager who is known by his peers as an easy target who won’t fight back. That is, until the day he learns that a group of classmates who harass him daily have joined a harassment-prevention student group purely for extra credit. Determined to make his voice heard, Jonah composes a pamphlet that exposes the harassers in his school and slips it into every student’s locker. When Jonah’s harassers retaliate, he finally loses control and students at Winter Lake High School see a side of Jonah they’ve never seen before. Through a series of activities and role-plays, students identify the similarities between Winter Lake High School and their own school and learn how to take action to stop harassment.
