Resiliency Classes for Grades 3-6

Synopsis
When young people experience anything from mild disappointment to severe pain or loss, they can forget about the tremendous resources available to them from without and within.  This class remains appropriately lighthearted as it deals with heavy subject matter. A fun warm-up activity allows students to brainstorm difficult situations.  Then, a poignant scene allows students to witness the feelings that can result from major and minor letdowns.  Lastly, students use an imagination exercise to come up with positive actions they can take in response to negative feelings.
