Synopsis
After a few minutes of rehearsal, it’s pretty obvious that Deb Diva is not ready to play the lead role in the Broadway production of Pinocchio. She knows her lines, and she’s certainly eager enough, but she doesn’t seem to know how to respectfully participate when she’s part of a group. Luckily, director Dell A. Gate and the other actors in the cast (played by your students) are willing to help her learn. In this charming class, students learn how to pay attention, respect the property of others, and admit to and learn from their mistakes.

In this highly interactive and entertaining class, students practice listening skills through an activity that requires concentration. They also learn about respect for others’ property by playing with an imaginary invention. They brainstorm disrespectful actions through an activity that engages the body and mind.
